Head Teacher - Kiki

Lead Teacher for Wildcats

Kiki always makes learning an exciting adventure! Originally from Massachusetts, USA, she brings her energetic and quirky personality into the classroom, creating a lively, engaging atmosphere that children adore. Whether she’s leading a song, inventing a game, or launching into a spontaneous story, Kiki turns each day into a joyful experience full of discovery.

With over 12 years of experience teaching English—mostly in Thailand—Kiki has worked with children of all ages, though her heart lies with the little ones. She combines creative, play-based learning with structured language support, helping children grow in both confidence and skill while having a lot of fun along the way.

Kiki is also the Head Teacher at Little Lynx, guiding our teaching team and supporting the educational vision across both branches. Her deep love for language shines brightest in our Paws and Pages literature club, where she shares stories, fosters imagination, and helps children fall in love with books.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English (Creative Writing and Literature) from St. Lawrence University, along with TEFL certifications from Let’s Go Project (2011) and TEFL UK (2019). She is currently working toward her MTEL ESL certification.

Teaching Assistant - Deni

Deni has a natural gift for connecting with children. Her calm and caring aura makes kids feel instantly relaxed and happy in her presence.

With over 5 years of experience working with children, Deni has worked in a kindergarten teaching English, served as a private nanny, and guided kids at summer camps year after year. She is always surrounded by children, and they are naturally drawn to her warmth and kindness.

We deeply admire Deni for her volunteer work at a children's neurology hospital. Her dedication to helping kids through challenging times by donating her time and skills is truly inspiring. Her selflessness and compassion are qualities we hold in high regard.

Deni is currently studying psychology and uses her growing knowledge to support and nurture our little lynxes every day. Her dedication, compassion, and understanding make her an invaluable part of our team and a beloved teacher to all our students.

Teaching Assistant - Hena

Hena is currently in her last year of studying psychology and has a strong interest in child psychology and emotional development. Working with children feels very natural to her — her mother is a kindergarten teacher, and Hena has been around early years education from a young age.

She has previous experience in kindergarten settings, including leading yoga classes for children, and after moving to Prague to study at UNYP, she also volunteered teaching English to children. These experiences have shaped her calm, thoughtful approach and her sensitivity to children’s emotions and needs.

Hena is someone who is genuinely engaged, often bringing new ideas and small (and big) initiatives into the classroom, always with the children’s wellbeing in mind. We’re very happy she continues to be part of Little Lynx and to support the children’s emotional and social development.

Teaching Assistant - Sam

Sam is quick, witty, and always one step ahead! Originally from the USA, she brings a sharp sense of humour, calm confidence, and plenty of energy into the classroom. With eyes seemingly everywhere at once, Sam has a special talent for keeping track of all the little humans around her—making sure everyone is safe, supported, included, and well cared for.

With experience teaching children from infancy through preschool age, Sam understands just how much learning happens through play, exploration, and everyday interactions. She has taught in preschool settings, creating developmentally appropriate activities across early literacy, maths, science, art, and emotional development, and especially enjoys working with our youngest learners.

At Little Lynx, Sam combines warmth and playfulness with excellent awareness and organisation. Whether she’s joining in a game, helping a child navigate a tricky moment, or quietly noticing that someone needs a little extra support, she brings a thoughtful and attentive presence to the classroom—and her quick wit makes sure there are plenty of laughs along the way.

Sam holds a TEFL Certificate and a Young Learners and Teens Certificate from The Language House Prague. She also studied Elementary Education at West Virginia University for three years.

Movement & Yoga Instructor
Petra

Petra visits Little Lynx once a week, and it’s one of the children’s most anticipated moments! Her energy, creativity, and warmth make every session feel like a celebration of movement. From playful stretching to imaginative yoga poses and fun games, Petra helps our little ones build strength, coordination, and confidence — all while having a great time.

A certified children’s yoga instructor and qualified educator (UJEP), Petra has years of experience leading yoga and movement classes across preschools and studios in Prague. She’s also part of the expert team at VO2MAX, a holistic sports and therapy center.

Her classes are designed to support overall development — physical, emotional, and social — while helping children form a joyful and healthy connection to their bodies.

Behind the Scene

  • Ljudmila

    Cleanliness Supervisor

Ljudmila is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Always in a good mood, even on the toughest days, her presence brings happiness to everyone around her. She ensures our preschool is spotless—no germ can survive her cleaning tornado, and no kid's fingerprint is left untouched.

Ljudmila has a natural way with kids, and they are naturally drawn to her as well. Her dedication to cleanliness and care makes our preschool a better place every day, and we couldn't be happier to have her!

  • Marie

    Founder and All-Parents Communicator

Marie founded Little Lynx together with Georg because she wanted to do things differently. She envisioned a preschool that would not only be an amazing place for kids but also a welcoming and positive environment for parents.

With a background in law, Marie left that world behind many years ago to dive into the European tech startup scene. This new venture offered her more flexibility and required her to multitask on multiple levels—a skill that is her superpower. After living in Germany for almost a decade, Marie and Georg returned to Prague, now with their two kids, to immerse themselves in educational projects.

Marie is truly passionate about Little Lynx. For her, it is a project that genuinely helps both the small and the big people, fulfilling her long-standing desire to make a difference.

  • Georg

    Founder, Janitor and Key Manager

Georg is a true multicultural chameleon! Born in Prague but having spent most of his life in Germany, he speaks both languages like a native. He can also speak Slovak, English, Spanish, and a bit of Russian, so feel free to practice with him. Georg has a knack for making people, especially the little ones, laugh.

At our preschool, Georg wears many hats—literally and figuratively! As the founder and investor, he's the mastermind behind our wonderful preschool. But you'll also find him fixing things, building stuff, and generally making sure everything runs smoothly. If there's something we need, Georg's got it covered. He's the proud owner of a giant key ring, unlocking all the secrets (and doors) of our preschool.
